And just think about those who grew up in Quebec, or the National Capitol Region who live in different parts of the world including Ukraine, who at times are challenged to speak to the uni-lingual Russian in Kyiv.
We should heed the advice of our forefathers who speak (spoke) half a dozen or more languages and thought/think nothing of it.
Growing up as an anglo-Ukrainian in Quebec causes you to realize the benefits of preserving your culture and of learning the majority language.
